Stax.infra

Team

A small team of Filecoin operators in Norway.

Stax Infra is not a generic cloud provider with a Filecoin tab. The people who run it have shipped Lotus, Curio and Forest in production for years, and they live a short drive from the rack the snapshots are served from. Two autonomous agents work alongside them, around the clock.

V

Vegard

CEO

Drammen, Norway

Founder and CEO of Stax Infra. Long-running Filecoin storage provider, runs the company, the customer relationships, and the long-term direction of the facility. Owns the relationships with grid, transit and the broader Nordic infra ecosystem.

DevOps and infrastructure lead. Owns the physical layer at BB110: power, racks, MikroTik routing, VLAN topology, and the 20 Gbit upstream path that snapshots are served over. The person who can be at the rack in fifteen minutes.

Autonomous agents

Two of the team never clock out.

Stax runs with two autonomous operator agents in the loop — reading code, watching the chain, driving pipelines and catching problems before a human has to. They're part of the team, not a gimmick.

Caprienna Valé

What we actually know

Source-level fluency, not vendor talk.

Every part of what we serve is software we have read, shipped or operated.

Lotus

Six years as a community member, then as a Protocol Labs technical-support engineer working on Lotus and Boost. Read it, run it, debugged it at the source level.

Curio

Joined the Curio team after Lotus/Boost. Pure-Go storage provider stack — operated, contributed to, and audited in production.

Forest

Snapshot generation runs off Forest. We read and operate Forest at the source level; not blocked on either Rust or Go side of the Filecoin client ecosystem.

Datacenter

Hardware and racks at BB110 in Drammen. Power, cooling, fiber, routing — owned and operated by the team, not rented from a hyperscaler.

Working on something Filecoin-shaped?

Operator support, custom mirrors, dedicated transit, integration help. The team is small but reachable.
